Willow Creek at Lake Natomas

Willow Creek is probably one of my favorite spots to catch sheer numbers of small bluegill. I often bring beginners here because they can catch lots of fish and there is good bank access. I also caught my biggest Sacramento Pikeminnow here which was 27 inches long and 8 pounds. Some times you will get thousands of seagulls flying through here in late fall (see picture below).
