Green Sunfish

Identification: green sunfish have blue green rays on its face that stretch out to its operculum gill plate. They have a mouth much larger in comparison to other sunfish that approches the size of a basses, and they also has a white or orange border around its fins. Green sunfish are also shaped closer to a bass than they are to other sunfish

Size: Up to 13 inches, anything Above 6 is rare

Range: all of california excluding some higher mountain lakes
