Ashford Park

Ashford Park was one of my my favorite places to catch bass when I was twelve. Because it is so shallow, you can sight fish everywhere in the pond during the spring and early summer. This park also has a nice playground for kids and a dog park. This pond seems to have a low amount of sunfish because there is no structure for the fry to survive but the ones in there are much larger sunfish. This pond also was stocked with channel cats years ago, but the ones in there are very hard to catch and of an enormous size.
